Construction

All lots are ready and waiting for you to build!

Each lot has (at the lot line) connections for water, hydro, effluent discharge (sewer) and driveway.  On site, each lot is numbered and the boundary lines are in place.  Once you have purchased a lot, you can build your mountain chalet with the contractor of your choosing.

Each lot has great sun exposure and views, as well as ski in/ski out access and zoning which permits a variety of building options. The new ski trail above the up-hill lots, called Skybound, is open and provides a new option for skiing and boarding from Panorama Lodge to the base of Skyline.  Pre-sales demand has been strong, with 50% of lots already sold!

For this release only, there is no requirement to build within a limited time and construction can begin as early as June 2013! There are design guidelines to ensure that the value of each home is enhanced as each owner works with their own builder to create the home they wish to have! Since each lot is unique, it will allow you to put your own personal touches on it and create a design that is customized to your lot. For the lot purchaser who does not have their own contractor, the developer can assist in constructing their own home based on the design of their choosing.

Three homes are scheduled for construction this summer, act quickly, and you could be apart of this exciting build!

Effluent Discharge System

The following provides details of the Effluent Discharge System.  If chosen, the developer offers to install the system for no more than $10,000.

The tanks can be located anywhere on the property providing that there is a minimum of 1/4" per 10ft of slope between the residence and the tank.  Once the raw sewage reaches the tank, the solids are separated from the liquids.  The liquid effluent is then pumpted from the tank so there is no further need to rely on gravity.  The discharge of the effluent is controlled and timed so that not all 16 tanks for the subdivision discharge at the same time.  This ensures that the treatment plant is never over-taxed or exceeds its capacity to treat the incoming effluent.  There are no further pumps required between the individual lots and the treatment plant.

The AX-Max Wastewater Treatment System we have chosen for this first phase has been widely used for more than a decade, inside and oustide of the urban core.  It is well suited for the harsh environment it will be exposed to on the mountain.

The system is a recirculating media filter that produces outstanding effluent quality.  It is highly energy efficient, using less than 2kWh per 1000 gallons treated.  It is easily monitored by way of a data link provided by the local phone provider.  Lastly, they require minimal O&M compared to conventional technologies.
